Juneteenth is this Sunday, June 19! Juneteenth is the true ending of slavery in the United States. On Juneteenth, we celebrate the freedom and heritage of Black Americans. There are multiple events all over the Atlanta area where you can celebrate and support black businesses and brands. Here are 10 ways to celebrate Juneteenth this year in Atlanta!

The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame Juneteenth Celebration – Atlanta

This Saturday June 18, come to the Home Depot Backyard in Atlanta.  The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame Juneteenth Celebration is an experience where you can celebrate the magic of black culture, including art, live entertainment, local vendors, music, an outdoor movie, fireworks, food, dance, and fun for everyone of all ages!

Juneteenth Black Business Expo – Riverdale

This Saturday, come network with over 20 different black owned businesses at The Juneteenth Black Business Expo. It’s a great opportunity to get to know more black owned brands, support them and enjoy excellent vibes. From 2pm – 6pm expect live performances as well as a variety of speakers! 

Black Into Action ATL: A Juneteenth Pop Up Shop & Celebration – 

Saturday and Sunday on Peter St. in Atlanta join Black Into Action ATL: A Juneteenth Pop Up Shop & Celebration. At this event you have the opportunity to shop over 30+ local black owned brands, enjoy food, games, and more!
